Flowering Pink Almond 2ft

The Pink Flowering Almond is a charming spring-blooming shrub cherished for its profusion of soft pink, double blossoms that completely cover its branches before the foliage emerges. Blooming in early to mid-spring, it creates a breathtaking display of color and texture, making it a standout accent in any garden.

This compact, upright shrub typically grows 5-6 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide, forming a neat, rounded shape ideal for borders, foundations, or specimen plantings. Its bright green summer foliage provides seasonal interest after the flowers fade, and it responds well to pruning immediately after bloom to encourage dense growth and abundant flowering the following year.

Why Bare Root
The benefits of buying and planting bare root trees are extensive. Bare root trees are more cost effective and will typically reach their mature size quicker. They are easier to manage and plant due to not being established within a medium in a container. Bare root shrubs and trees will grow faster since they have 200% more root mass than that of trees purchased in a container or B&B. Pickup for all Bare Root Plants will take place at The Shire at Old Ranch (3860 Old Ranch Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80908) March 28th and 29th from 9:00am-5:00pm.
