Frostbite Apple Tree (1in caliper)

The Frostbite apple is a unique cold-hardy variety prized for its intensely sweet, rich flavor with hints of tropical fruit and caramel. The small to medium-sized apples have reddish-bronze skin and crisp, creamy-yellow flesh that’s perfect for fresh eating, cider, or blending into sauces.

Frostbite thrives in cold climates (zones 3–6). The tree offers beautiful white blossoms in spring, strong, compact growth, and dependable mid-season harvests. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil, alongside another apple variety for cross-pollination. A hardy, flavorful standout with a sweetness that’s truly distinctive.

Why Bare Root
The benefits of buying and planting bare root trees are extensive. Bare root trees are more cost effective and will typically reach their mature size quicker. They are easier to manage and plant due to not being established within a medium in a container. Bare root shrubs and trees will grow faster since they have 200% more root mass than that of trees purchased in a container or B&B.
