The Kashmir rose from the Easy Elegance® collection is a stunning, compact shrub rose that brings classic rose garden beauty with deep, velvety red blooms and modern, easy-care performance. Each flower is fully double with a rich, romantic hue that holds its color beautifully against the glossy, dark green foliage.
This upright, tidy shrub grows about 3-4 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide, making it an excellent choice for borders, foundations, or mass plantings. The continuous flushes of blooms from late spring through frost ensure steady color all season, while its disease-resistant foliage stays lush and attractive without the need for spraying.
Hardy in zones 4–9, Kashmir thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It’s cold-hardy, self-cleaning, and low-maintenance, offering reliable performance year after year. A timeless favorite that combines luxurious red color and exceptional durability, Kashmir is perfect for gardeners who want elegance without extra effort.
Why Bare Root
The benefits of buying and planting bare root trees are extensive. Bare root trees are more cost effective and will typically reach their mature size quicker. They are easier to manage and plant due to not being established within a medium in a container. Bare root shrubs and trees will grow faster since they have 200% more root mass than that of trees purchased in a container or B&B. The plants are also not having to go through the adjustment period of acclimating to different soil conditions since they are not coming in a medium. For more information, please see CSU Extension Service’s “The Science of Planting Trees.”
Pickup for all Bare Root Plants will take place at The Shire at Old Ranch (3860 Old Ranch Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80908) March 28th and 29th from 9:00am-5:00pm.
