The Love & Peace® rose from the First Editions® collection is a breathtaking hybrid tea rose prized for its large, radiant blooms that blend golden yellow centers with vivid pink edges—a true garden showstopper. Each flower can reach up to 5 inches across, with lush, velvety petals and a light, sweet fragrance that evokes classic rose elegance.
This upright, vigorous shrub typically grows 4–5 feet tall and 3 feet wide, making it ideal as a focal point, in mixed borders, or as a cutting garden favorite. The deep green, glossy foliage provides a perfect backdrop for the glowing blooms and offers excellent disease resistance, ensuring beauty and performance throughout the season.
Hardy in zones 5–9, Love & Peace® thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It’s cold-hardy, self-cleaning, and reblooms reliably from late spring through fall. A true classic in modern form, Love & Peace® delivers vibrant color, graceful blooms, and lasting garden impact year after year.
Why Bare Root
The benefits of buying and planting bare root trees are extensive. Bare root trees are more cost effective and will typically reach their mature size quicker. They are easier to manage and plant due to not being established within a medium in a container. Bare root shrubs and trees will grow faster since they have 200% more root mass than that of trees purchased in a container or B&B. The plants are also not having to go through the adjustment period of acclimating to different soil conditions since they are not coming in a medium. For more information, please see CSU Extension Service’s “The Science of Planting Trees.”
Pickup for all Bare Root Plants will take place at The Shire at Old Ranch (3860 Old Ranch Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80908) March 28th and 29th from 9:00am-5:00pm.
